Which group should I choose?

There are many factors to consider when determining which session is the best fit, and it's important to note that there is some overlap between sessions. Players may find themselves at a point where either clinic could be suitable if they fall within that overlap. If you're uncertain about which clinic to choose, it's likely you're in that overlap zone, and either option would work well. Here are a few things to consider if you find yourself in this situation:

  • Does the skater have the physical and mental maturity to handle the challenges of the more advanced clinic?

  • Is the skater older than the minimum age requirement, and how would they feel about being with skaters who are either older or younger than themselves?

  • Is the skater one of the stronger performers in their age group?

  • Most importantly, which session would the player enjoy the most? A player who feels more engaged and comfortable in a group will benefit more from the session experience.

If you're unsure, feel free to reach out for personalized guidance via email. If, after the first session, you feel that another group would be a better fit, just let the coach know, and we'll work with you to make the necessary adjustments. These are the guidelines for the power skating session by age group, but they may change according to the individual player's ability. Groups may not be exactly offered, but use this as a guideline.
